
Michael Klein
Principal and Chief Executive Officer
Michael has over 40 years of experience in real estate and corporate finance. For the past nine years, Michael has served as the CEO of Freedom Financial Funds, LLC (Freedom). Prior to co-founding Freedom, Michael served as COO and Fund Manager of Partners Capital Solutions. Collectively over the past 16 he has supervised the origination, underwriting and servicing of over $3.0 billion in loans and returned over 8% per annum to investors while suffering zero losses. Prior to becoming a fund manager, Michael spent over twenty years in various executive positions at international and regional banks including roles in originations, credit supervision, and loan restructuring.
Michael serves on executive committee of Homes 4 Families, a not-for-profit dedicated to helping low-income veterans attain home ownership. He is immediate past president of the Phoenix Chapter of Lambda Alpha International and a member of the MBA, ICSC, and REIAC. Michael has also served as an adjunct professor in the entrepreneur program at the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business. He and his co-author, Stanley Kafka, have an international bestselling book "How to Make Sensible Investments in a Senseless Economy". His hobbies include flying, travel and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Michael received his bachelor's degree in finance from California State University at Northridge and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
